Trace Cyrus and Brenda Song aren't the only one excited about their engagement. Miley Cyrus, the younger sister of the former Metro Station rocker, has revealed through her Twitter account that she too can't wait to call fellow former Disney star Brenda her sister in law.
"@TraceCyrus can't wait for Brenda to be a Cyrus :)," so the 18-year-old songstress tweeted, "couldn't be more excited about my 'sister in law to be' yay :)" She posted the tweet just hours after her 22-year-old brother announced that he has proposed to his 23-year-old girlfriend and she said yes.
Trace made public his engagement to Brenda on Friday, October 14. The adopted son of Billy Ray Cyrus tweeted, "I am very excited to say, last week I asked my girlfriend Brenda Song to marry me and she said YES! We are both very excited to be engaged!" There are yet words on whether the couple have set a wedding date.
Trace and Brenda have been quietly dating for months before they made their first red carpet appearance together at Nylon's party back in May 2010. In August 2011, the couple were hit with rumors that they are expecting their first child together. Brenda's mother, however, denied and told Star Magazine, "She's actually not pregnant," and stressing, "It's not how we raised her."
