Selena Gomez is determined to put her Disney days right behind her, and vows not to make such tween-friendly movies like 'Monte Carlo' again.
The former Wizards of Waverly Place star, who is currently dating Justin Bieber, has been harping on about breaking the mould when it comes to her roles - wanting something racier and more exciting, and she explained to Teen Vogue why.
"Monte Carlo was a good step for me at the time, but I would never want to do something like that again," the 20-year-old said.
"It's frustrating whenever I want the roles that no one's even thinking about me for, and being like, 'No' with all these other ones."
Selena, who recently quashed reports that she was to star in the movie-adaptation of Fifty Shades Of Grey, added: "I don't necessarily feel accomplished. I want to create a whole different personality when it comes to acting."
Well considering Selena's boyfriend Bieber is set to start making movies too, with likes of Mark Wahlberg, it sounds as if she's got some competition on her hands.
