I still have a "hang-over" over Nana so I was browsing for some animes thats relevantly similar to it. Came across Kaikan Phrase but had a doubt cause its quite old. But I somehow ended up watching it and have no regrets at all. Its Amazing.

I was so good that I started reading manga after watching anime. I wanted more of it but Manga was a lot of smut. Its quite different from anime. The main focus in anime is on the band and their success while the main focus in manga is on Sakuya & Aine's relation ship and its full smut, so I quit it.

I like Sakuya in the Anime more than the one in Manga.

Yeah both Anime and Manga are little or a lot different.

But I will DEFINITELY recommend the ANIME!!!

Kaikan Phrase revolves around a famous Japanese rock band called Aucifer. After the break up of their old band, guitarist Yuki & drummer Santa decide to form a new one. They recruit bass player Towa, young guitarist Atsuro, and after much persuasion, vocalist Sakuya. Together they form Lucifer and they struggle to make it in the music business, and also to stay together. As well, they have to deal with personal issues, such as parental objections, and watching their old bands succeed ahead of them. Sakuya is the most troubled band member, as he has to deal with his tragic past, and his relationship with teenaged lyricist Aine. 

The real life band called "Aucifer" was actually formed to promote the anime. It looked to be disbanded afterwards as Aucifer went inactive in 2003. They also created another band called "e.mu" to promote the rivalry in the story. The creators created two bands and promoted a rivalry to promote an anime series.

Probably one of the most troublesome main characters I've ever come across is Lucifer's vocalist, Sakuya. At first, he didn't even want to have anything to do with the band. The rest of the band members are pretty much at a loss when it comes to understanding him. The main reason why they even bothered with him in the first place was because they fell in love with his voice.

The reason for Sakuya's usually sour demeanor is revealed gradually in scenes where he and Aine get into conversations about the past.

Santa is the drummer for Lucifer, formerly the drummer for a band called "Climb." He left the band to create Lucifer when he discovered his girlfriend, Climb's vocalist, having an affair with one of Climb's other band members. When he left, Yuki, the guitarist, left with him.

Out of all the characters, Santa is the most vocal about their dream to reach the top. He has a lot of pride, and a positive but short-tempered attitude.

He probably has the hardest time dealing with Sakuya's sour personality, so different from his own. But in the end, he does try to form some sort of friendly bond with the lead vocalist of Lucifer. 

One of Lucifer's two guitarists. He and Santa were friends from the start, and is usually seen hanging out with Santa.

Yuki is designated as the leader of Lucifer. He has the calmest personality, usually thinking before he acts, and also the one who usually stops Santa from doing anything rash. The voice of reason.

Originally the guitarist for Lucy Lane, which disbanded since the rest of its members, composed mainly of college-bound students studying for exams, needed more time for their schoolwork and only saw music as a side hobby. He is now the second of Lucifer's two guitarists.

Atsuro, who was also brought up to become a college-bound student, finds himiself torn between the life of education planned for him by his parents, and the life of music that he finds himself obsessing over more and more.

Atsuro's sister also plays a big role in the early stages of Lucifer. She supports Atsuro even when his father decides to disown him from the family.

Towa, originally the bassist for a looks-only band called "Neon," and now the bassist for Lucifer. To many girl fans, and possibly male fans too, Towa looks awfully feminine o.o;. Blond hair, pink lipstick...? Eheh.

Towa ran away from home a long time ago to try to make his life as a musician. At the time, he left without a word to his family. He is oftentimes seen as an outsider, living alone in his own apartment, independent, and very solitary. He's more of the typical musician who seems to be meandering along, when in reality he does have dreams for the future - he just doesn't say them all out loud. 

I'll give the characters an outstanding. Each one of them has different characteristics that would make different kind of people relate to them. Nobody stood up annoyingly or overly dramatic. Even the female leads character was done just appropriately.

But there are a bit of differences between the anime and manga itself. In the anime, it gives more focus on the band Aucifer. In the manga, it gave more focus on the relationship between Aine and Sakuya. In the opening and beginning themes, they have real life actors portraying the characters.

The visuals are fine.The art was good for it's time but sometimes, details were lacking and movements weren't very fluid. It was quite enjoyable. 

You actually get to hear the music, it's good but not the best. I liked the song "C no binetsu" very much. Its the third opening song for the show.  I just cant get that song out of my head.

The voice acting is surprisingly good, except for the horrific Engrish. Each character’s seiyuu matches their personality well, and has enough of a diverse vocal range to match the melodic charm of the band.

If you really liked the manga and want to know more then go for it, if you really like the Music genre and a bit of romance on the side, go for it. If you hate slow relationships, don't watch it

Obviously I had a fun time watching it. Time well-spent! 44 episodes were just not enough for me.

This manga is just too DEPRESSING!!

The first thing I did when reading this manga was cry. This manga was for me heart-wrenching and very depressing. This poor girl has had unfortunate upon unfortunate thrown upon her. Her little brother died in her arms then she had to become a heartless body guard. After 9 years of trying of what I can only describe as a half-hearted darkness she falls in love but she can't reveal it. Then to top it all off the has to spend another 9 years as a heartless gangster all the while having to pretend to be a boy.

I read this manga thinking it would be fun but instead I was tortured by this poor girl's life so much that i want to cry. Personally I like heavy mangas but this one is just too much heavier for me. I managed to complete it. But will I recommend it? I dont think so. Trust me its very very very depressing, you would't wanna read it and the characters..  sometimes get on your nerves.

Suh Hyun-bin. She’s had a rough start in life. Watched her little brother die in her arms without being able to do anything. Was later picked up by a wealthy man who needed a bodyguard for his granddaughter. It was either be a guy forever or be on the streets. She chose what anyone would have chosen. Used and abused by everyone for everything. Even Yae Ha, who is suppose to be her friend manipulates her for her own benefit. Hyun finally falls in love only to be taken away and taught a lesson on the reality that she isn’t suppose to feel anything for anyone.

Yun-ha Lee, a boy with a tragic past. Lost the girl he liked and his brother is in a coma. Only has his dad. Made his own gang and was willing to leave everything for the person he loves. Even though he is mean to Hyun and hate him protecting yae-ha he is still devoted and sincere. I am willing to overlook that he’s the one closest to Hyun and hasn’t figured out he’s a she. His character is the one that has given and given to Hyun expecting nothing in return but to see her smile

Yae-ha, I'm not sure if her character is suppose to be a manipulative, self absorb, rich girl or if that's just the way the mangaka wants her to be perceived. She has no redeeming qualities. Even her good qualities at the beginning were to satisfy her narcissistic personality. She’s spoiled and deserves a beating, maybe I‘ll make a poll to see how she should be beat…

The truth about her was told to her face by no other than Ji-Woong, “You don’t know anything about love or the act of loving another.”

Chi-ho, he’s a follower of Hyun, to the point that he stalked him to the bathroom and harassed the girl out of him. He loves her deeply. Even confessed when he thought she was a guy. He was the top in Lee’s gang before Hyun got there and took his spot as the better fighter.

Kang Ji-woong was the best addition to the manga. Abandoned when a child by the people he cared about. He gave up on love and hates when people love. But somehow Hyun got under his skin. He was the only character that automatically saw her as a girl. He got extra credit points just for that in my book. 

Art: The fighting scenes are good. They get cleaner as the manga progresses then reverts to it's former state. There’s no suave way of saying it so here goes, I like knowing how one person gets beat up and you don’t miss anything with this manga. Also, the characters expressions are not the best towards the middle, I’m not sure why I noticed. Just somewhere along the way their expressions were always sullen. It could also be that the mood of the manga shifted. 

My opinion on the characters are pretty consistent with my version of their description above. I have to note thought that though Hyun is the protagonist I feel that she would have better off she if she told someone of her circumstances instead of hiding it and suffering in silence. 

Then things just took a downward spiral. Don't get me wrong. It was great for a while, but soon things just got so dragged out to the point where it seemed as though these romantic conflicts wouldn't conclude. And then of course as we need the end soap opera-like occurrences begin to pop up

This is the first time I'm fully engaged in a manhwa, and the different style it has from manga is very obvious that it took me a while to get used to it. In the end, I still love the art. I didn't give it a 10 because there were times I didn't know which character was which.

After all is said and done this was one manga that was worth reading until the end if you start it but I am just letting you know forth that this is very sad manga.

Described as a "motorbike-car" hybrid, the Lit C-1 two wheeler uses a set of futuristic electronic gyroscopes to ensure it remains upright and balanced, similar to the technology used by Segway scooters and the recent Honda UNI-CUB.

A group of scientists have announced that within a few years it may be possible to sell a two-wheeled vehicle that can't tip over.

The secret to the balance are the gyroscopes under the floor, which spin rapidly in response to electronic sensors to keep the vehicle balanced at all times -- even, says Lit, if the vehicle is involved in a collision.

Gyroscopes, which harness the unique propensity of a spinning flywheel to stay upright, have been used for some time for stabilization, including on aircraft and on cruise ships to reduce roll caused by waves.

However, this will be one of the most unique applications to date, potentially enabling drivers to switch to smaller vehicles which offer the benefits of a bike with the comparative safety of a car.

The model can even cope with some luggage and an extra passenger, says Lit, although it's likely to involve some considerable acrobatics from the rear passenger given the small size of the device.

The C-1 uses electric drive and offers a battery pack capable of 200 miles (321 km/h) from a single charge, as well as reaching a top speed of over 120 mph (193 km/h) -- far faster than most electric cars available on the market today.

The manufacturer says that it could be available in showrooms by the end of 2014 -- it's already offering preorders on the website from $250, although the final price of the vehicle is unclear.

ROBERT PATTINSON AND KRISTEN STEWART INTRODUCE RENESMEE IN BREAKING DAWN SHOOT

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have someone they would like you to meet: their Breaking Dawn daughter Renesmee!

The Twilight couple struck a pose for a series of brand new, never before seen snaps for American Magazine Entertainment Weekly, and their on-screen daughter Renesmee Cullen, played Mackenzie Foy, came along, too.

The angelic nine-year old bagged the part of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's half human, half vampire daughter, last year, after winning over Twilight bosses at auditions.

But this is the first official sneak peek we've been given of the pint-sized star, who looks scarily similar to Robert and Kristen themselves.

Mackenzie is seen holding hands with Rob and Kristen, who place protective hands around her during the shoot.

There has been much debate over how director Bill Condon will portray Bella and Edward’s baby daughter, who, as a human/vampire hybrid, ages years in just a few months.

Rumours doing the rounds suggest the team have employed special new movie technology – similar to that used in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button – to digitally transfer Mackenzie’s features onto the face of a younger child.
