Korean singer/actor Kim Hyun-joong has wrapped up an exclusive concert in Chiba, Japan with success.
Kim shared good times with some 20,000 fans during his exclusive concert “KIM HYUN JOONG Premium Live-TONIGHT,” held at Chiba Makuhari International Exhibition Hall in Japan the night before and last night, KEYEAST said on Tuesday.
Kim invited fans into the splendid stages with a medley of his tunes “Unbreakable” and “Gentleman,” both of which from his recent third mini-album “ROUND 3,” as well as early hit tunes “Break Down” and “Lucky Guy.”
While showing vigorous performances, Kim didn’t forget to keep connect with fans throughout the three-hour long shows, KEYEAST explained.
In the meantime, Kim proved his status as top Hallyu star by scooping up the grand prize as the top male solo artist at Korean Entertainment 10th Anniversary Awards in Japan last Saturday.
It was revealed that actor and singer Kim Hyun Joong will now be focusing on filming for his upcoming drama ‘City Conquest’ after concluding his overseas activities.
Kim Hyun Joong had been invited to perform at the East Japan Charity Concert which was part of the 2012 Jingu Gaien Fireworks Festival in Tokyo on August 10th.
He had the honour of closing the concert and it also marked the end of his 7 months of overseas activities.
After releasing his ‘Kiss Kiss’ and ‘Lucky Guy’ singles earlier this year in Japan, Kim Hyun Joong concentrated his efforts on overseas activities and strived hard to interact with his overseas fans.
Starting from last May, Kim Hyun Joong has simultaneously held his ‘Kim Hyun Joong Fan Meeting Tour 2012’ in countries like Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China and Thailand, numbering 8 cities in five countries.
His fan meeting was pretty special compared to usual ones as he would perform 15 years and have all sorts of interesting segments, to leave fans with unforgettable memories.
In addition, his recent 2nd Japanese single album ‘HEAT’ which was released just last month, hit the top spot on the Oricon daily and monthly charts, and has now sold around 200,000 copies.
He will be showing fans a more masculine and tough guy image through his upcoming drama ‘City Conquest’ which will air sometime in September through cable channel TV Joseon.
Came to Daejeon, a bit far away so I reached late, for around 15 mins, I’m sorry!

Last year, he attended the awards ceremony as a presenter and made the promise to come back and stand on stage as a singer next year. Kim Hyun Joong is working towards keeping that promise, as he prepares a powerful performance for this year’s show.
He’ll be performing a remix version of his comeback track, “Break Down“, which has been lengthened to last five minutes. Known as Yonsama II (Bae Yong Joon), Kim Hyun Joong will reveal that he earned nearly $100K working various part-time jobs before his debut as a celebrity in the upcoming episode of SBS E!TV’s “Star Q10.” In the episode, he will talk about his past part-time jobs, as well as his chicken restaurant that he and his friends currently operate together. Kim Hyun Joong actively endorses the restaurant himself, appearing in its flyers and ads. The singer-actor has earned a lot of money, and he’s spent as much, doing Good Samaritan deeds like donating to those affected by the devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan early this year.
