Selena Gomez's 'Love You Like a Love Song' music video: Watch it here

With pop music, you know what’s fun? Watching a starlet come into her own. And that’s exactly what’s happening with Disney delight and Justin Bieber love Selena Gomez, who just released the video for her newest pop jam, “Love You Like a Love Song,” from her latest album, When the Sun Goes Down.

From the start—which finds a hugely, beautifully coiffed Ms. Gomez being called up on stage at an Asian karaoke joint to sing her song the clip is pure candy, a light-and-fluffy treat. She has a lot of fun with the karaoke theme, as we see her morph through several different, visually stunning scenes during the song, with lyrics on the screen to boot.

My favorite Selena iteration? When she’s singing/riding in the convertible with her James Dean-ish man, mostly because of the seriously sultry cat-lady glasses she wears. (There’s some other killer eye wear in the clip, too.) The whole thing just screams: Fun!

All it takes is one look at Selena Gomez's new music video, "Love You Like a Love Song," and it's clear that Justin Bieber's swag is contagious, as the petite Disney songbird morphs with ease from Japanese karaoke bar patron to futuristic silver lipstick donner to Marie Antoinette-era cake eater to mariachi band compatriot to '50s greaser to purple horse wrangler, well, just check out our exclusive clip, would ya?

But that's not all we've got from the superstar-in-the-making. While hanging out on set, Gomez gave us some exclusive dish on her oh so dreamy beau. And yes, now would be a good time to get those hormones in check, Bieber fans, because the "L" word is indeed invoked…

"This song is fun and I wanted it to be really high fashion and different and I think we have accomplished that," she told E! News of the meaning behind her song. 

"It's basically talking about how crazy you are about someone whenever it's the beginning. It's the honeymoon stage if you will."

So, is she speaking from experience, or what?

"Because I'm only 18, I think love is supposed to be really fun. So that's how I interpret it, at this point in my life. I think it's really fun and you are supposed to enjoy it, kinda dive in."

Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's fine and dandy, but what we really want to know is whether or not Selena and Justin are in love.

"Maybe," she smiled.
