Selena Gomez could one day star in a prequel to Sex and the City as a young Charlotte York after author Candice Bushnell recently mentioned how Selena would be perfect for the role made famous by actress Kristin Davis in Sex and the City on HBO and two movies.
According to OnTheRedCarpet, Sex and the City author Candice Bushnell revealed that Selena Gomez would be perfect as a young Charlotte York in a Sex and the City prequel. Busnell attended a recent book signing in Washington D.C. where she revealed that she'd like to see Selena Gomez play a younger Charlotte York. However, Bushnell also explained that she isn’t great as a casting agent. "I'm going to get into trouble for this," admitted Busnell who wrote the Sex and the City books, "but I was looking at some pictures of Selena Gomez today and thinking 'She'd make a really good young Charlotte. She's so pretty. I was like... gosh, wouldn't she be great?"
Although it's nothing more than opinion, Selena Gomez could one day play Charlotte York in a version of the new Candice Bushnell novel Summer and the City, which follows the Carrie Bradshaw character as she moves from Connecticut to New York City and meets the Sex and the City girls for the first time.
