Whoa! Emma Roberts risks life and limb to shop in gigantic heels

Alright, so she might not actually be risking her life wearing these bad boys but we bet her little ankles are a little nervous!

Hollywood star Emma Roberts was snapped out and about in LA on Saturday having a much-needed catch up with some friends. Wearing skinny jeans and a cute spectacle-print top, from the ankles up Emma looked like any other relaxed Saturday shopper. Bar the fabulous minty Chanel bag, obvs.

Ankles down, Emma's style is a different story. Wearing the most poppy platforms we've seen in daylight hours for a long time, Emma strapped on fluoro sandals to give her casual look a (very big) lift. Though she might not have to run for a bus anytime soon, we still applaud Roberts for her statuesque Saturday morning heel choice. Bravo!

The 21-year-old actress enjoyed the afternoon by shopping at the Rebecca Taylor boutique.

The night before, Emma attended the screening of her good friend Chloe Moretz‘s new film Hick.

The two tweeted their excitement about reuniting before meeting up on the red carpet.

Miley Cyrus and Mom Go Shopping

Miley Cyrus may be a legal adult and multi-millionaire, but she still needs a little help from mom when it comes to decorating her new pad. Miley, 18, and her mother, Tish, were spotted carting decorative pillows out of swanky furniture store H.D. Buttercup in Culver City, California, on Thursday. Mom and daughter both sported tattered jeans (Miley's bell-bottom, Tish's skinny) and later put their arms around each other to pose for the cameras.

This all probably means Tish (and we're assuming dad Billy Ray, too) is OK with the fact her daughter is moving in with boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, an Australian actor and Miley's co-star in "The Last Song." The two, who started dating after meeting on the set in 2009, broke up last summer, but then got back together a month or so later before breaking up one more time last fall. You can't keep young love down, though, as Miley and Liam reunited this spring. I'm sure Miley wouldn't be buying pillows if she didn't think this time, it's gonna' last ...
