Daniel Radcliffe stars in another haunting Woman In Black trailer

The Woman In Black, Daniel Radcliffe's first real stab at an 'adult' movie post-Harry Potter, has scared up another trailer.

This latest promo offers a little more in terms of plot, but it still plays with striking images rather than spoilers.

And given the teasing nature of the trailer, we're still denied a substantial glimpse at Radcliffe's performance, but it's safe to say that this is worlds away from Potter.

And HP fans might be keen to know that this trailer finds time for an exchange between Radcliffe and Ciarán Hinds (Deathly Hallows: Part Two's Aberforth Dumbledore).

Catch the trailer of Daniel Radcliffe’s The Woman in Black

Looks like Daniel Radcliffe does not like sweet, simple stories and rom-coms! After playing a wizard boy in the Harry Potterseries, Daniel will now be seen in a supernatural thriller The Woman in Black.

“During afternoon tea, there’s a shift in the air. A bone-trembling chill that tells you she’s there… There are those who believe the whole town is cursed. But the house in the marsh is by far the worst…. What she wants is unknown, but she always comes back; the specter of darkness, the Woman in Black.” This poem is the narration of the trailer by a small girl child. And oh boy! Isn’t it chilling?

Scary Dolls and evil toys have always frightened us as kids and it is an accepted fact that even now, being adults, we are not fans of these scary toys! The trailer of The Woman in Black shows them in plenty!

The story of the supernatural thriller revolves around a young lawyer Arthur Kipps (Daniel Radcliffe) who travels to a remote village to organize a recently deceased client’s papers; however, he discovers the ghost of a woman set on vengeance, and she is always dressed in black.

The glimpse of ghostly presence in the house where Daniel Radcliffe probably stays, and the blood writings on the wall, give you goose bumps! The background score of the trailer, too, does its purpose of chipping in the thrills! Btw, it’s a welcome change to watch Daniel in a mature character in his first post-Harry Potter role! His side locks suit him!

Daniel Radcliffe Spooked in Woman in Black (New Trailer!)

Daniel Radcliffe can’t seem to escape the supernatural world. After battling the demons of Hogwarts in Harry Potter, he’s now caught up in a eerie world of ghosts in a small English town.

The new trailer for his upcoming film, “The Woman in Black,” has been released and it’s got more than a few spooky twists.

Radcliffe stars withCiarán Hinds and Janet McTeer in the adaption of a 1983 novel bySusan Hill about a menacing spectre that haunts a town on Britain’s east coast.

The story has been around the block. It was adapted into a 1987 stage play in London byStephen Mallatratt, and then a 1989 TV movie also called “The Woman in Black.”

The play is so popular it’s still running today, the second longest on London’s West End, next toMousetrap.

The story focuses on, Arthur Kipps (Radcliffe), a young lawyer, who travels to the small town of Crythin Gifford, for the funeral of Alice Drablow, an elderly and reclusive widow.

She lived alone in the desolate and secluded house surrounded by marshes and the sea.

At the funeral his attention is drawn to a woman dressed in black and with a pale, gaunt face, who stuns a group of children into silence.

Over the next several days, as Kipps gets Drablow’s affairs in order at the house, he is haunted by the visage of the strange woman.

He turns to the townspeople to find out more about the strange goings on at the house, but they are reluctant to help him as he unravels the mysteries of the house.
