Daniel Radcliffe's new medic role

Daniel Radcliffe has signed up to play a doctor in a new TV drama.
The Woman In Black and Harry Potter actor will star alongside Mad Men's Jon Hamm in a four-part series about Russian doctors after the First World War, The Sun reported.
Both actors will play the same character in the Sky Arts drama, with Daniel playing the doctor in his younger years.
A source told The Sun: "This is a great role for Daniel and he's pretty excited about the prospect of working with Jon."
US star Jon - who plays Mad Men advertising executive Don Draper - will also narrate the story.
Daniel's next film is set to be Kill Your Darlings, directed by John Krokidas.
The actor is set to play Allen Ginsberg in the true story of a murder committed by one of the American poet's friends.

New Trailer - Daniel Radcliffe’s ‘The Woman In Black’ spooks you

The specter of darkness, the new trailer of The Woman in Black is here! And believe me, the trailer of the Daniel Radcliffe starrer is nothing but a frightener!

To be honest, after watching the first trailer released in August, our expectations from the movie were set sky high. And the second trailer, appropriately so, raises the bar of our expectations even higher!

If the first trailer was about scary dolls and evil toys, the new trailer gives you the footage of the womanly ghost herself! And though that it is not a beautiful site to witness, the trailer fulfills its intention and spooks the daylights out of us!

Well, The Woman In Black is Daniel Radcliffe’s first big screen role since the Harry Potter saga has ended, and we have to admit, the boy looks mature and shorn of histrionics.

Speaking about story of The Woman In Black, it revolves around a young lawyer Arthur Kipps (Daniel Radcliffe) who travels to a remote village to organize a recently deceased client’s papers; however, he discovers the ghost of a woman set on vengeance, who is always dressed in black.

Daniel Radcliffe’s ‘Woman in Black’ UK Poster

Now that Harry Potter is firmly closed (for now) and Voldemort has been defeated, there are a bunch a young actors out there that audiences have followed since they were aged 11. Go out into the world and find a whole new selection of films starring the Radcliffe, Grint, Watson et al… This is one I am particularly excited about; Daniel Radcliffe starring in Hammer Films adaptation of Susan Hill’s 1983 The Woman in Black, directed by Eden Lake director, James Watkins.

The plot for those who haven’t read the book or seen the stage adaptation, follows a young lawyer sent to wrap up a deceased client’s affairs in a remote small town. Once there, however, he finds more than he bargained for, and things become a little ghostly. (Like the pun?)

Below is the UK teaser poster; Radcliffe is looking a little like they did for his Equus promotion (remember when he was naked and blinded the horses?) with the extremely dark colours juxtaposed with his quite pale skin colouring and an emphasis made on his manly facial hair (yes, he is no longer a boy wizard), oh! and remember the ghost on the right hand side of the poster? Looks intriguing doesn’t it?
