'X-Men: Days of Future Past' Releases New Teaser

There's a brand-new teaser for the upcoming superhero flick X-Men: Days of Future Past, but if you blink, you might miss it. The five-second clip, which you can check out below, was posted to Instagram today with the promise of the full trailer to come on Tuesday, October 29th. Short as it is, the clip features some serious mutant action, from a tortured Wolverine to an angry Storm and a roaring Beast. We also catch glimpses of Magneto, Dr. Xavier and what looks to be a break-dancing Mystique – though realistically, she's probably just bringing the pain.

Directed by Bryan Singer and based on Marvel Comics' Uncanny X-Men, Days of Future Past is set to open on July 18th, 2014. The new flick brings together the casts of the original trilogy released between 2000-06 (Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page and Shawn Ashmore) and the newcomers from 2011's X-Men: First Class (including James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult). Game of Thrones' Peter Dinklage was also cast as Bolivar Trask, a military scientist and creator of the mutant-hunting Sentinels.

The Days of Future Past teaser adds to today's bounty for Marvel fans. Earlier today, the comics juggernaut also released the first trailer for the upcoming Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which will see release on April 4th, 2014.
