Kim Hyun Joong shows 김현중 off his fighter figure in shirtless still cuts for 'Generation of Youth'

Kim Hyun Joong didn't need a stunt man for the action scenes with his fighter figure and determination and went shirtless to show off the fruits of his labor.

He shared, "At first, I tried to make the most sculpted body I could but as I thought about it, I realized there was no exercise equipment and protein supplements in the 1930s that we have today. That is why I just stuck to eating meat and vegetables and made a healthy body in a realistic way. So although you may think 'it's not that great of a body' as you watch my scenes, I hope you will keep in mind that I toned my body in consideration for the generation of the drama."

"For 'Generation of Youth', rather than using a lot of wire-like special equipment for the action scenes, we used our own bodies to clash with one another to fight. As much as my bruises increase after each filming, I think you will be able to feel the realistic action of the 1930s."

'Generation of Youth' is a romantic noir drama set in the 1930s centered around young fighters and their story of love and friendship. It will premiere this week so make sure you tune in to catch the scene above and more!

Funny Facts About Kim Hyun Joong 김현중 in Vietnam

1. A local lady in Mui né who taught HyunJoong how to make pancakes copmliment with her happy shining eyes like this: " Litte handsome boy is naughty and make me laugh a lot.♥"

Due to the script, UEE will make the pancakes, HyunJoong insists on making them by himself. He loses his temper when the hot oil splashed on him.

2. As we know, HyunJoong dislikes the heat n cant stand it as well.

Kim Hyun Joong 김현중 to hold his 1st Japanese tour of the new year, ‘JAPAN TOUR 2013 “UNLIMITED”‘

It has been revealed that Kim Hyun Joong will be holding his first Japanese tour of the new year, titled the ‘JAPAN TOUR 2013 “UNLIMITED”‘ tour.

A representative stated, “The preparations for the concert gathering Kim Hyun Joong, who thinks of his fans as first priority, and his fans together is unlike anything else.”

Kim Hyun Joong is set to perform his hit songs including tracks off his 2nd digital Japanese album, ‘HEAT‘, alongside a live band. The keywords for this tour will be “communication” and “consensus” in an effort to get closer to his Japanese fans.

Kim Hyun Joong will begin his tour at Kobe World Memorial Hall on the 6th and will tour various cities across Japan including Saitama, Nagoya, and Fukuoka.

Japan First Solo Album "UNLIMITED" Release Event :

Kim Hyun Joong (26) had a premium event in Tokyo in commemoration of the release of his first solo album in Japan, " UNLIMITED ". Though he did not sing, but music videos of "Your Story" and "Save Today" were presented. He had an interesting talk with his guests, a self-appointed cheer leader, KABA-chan as well as Kazuko Kurosawa (female comedian).

After eleven months since his Japan debut on January 25, 2012, the first album" Unlimited " has eventually been released. Every song including the new three songs as well as Kiss Kiss/Lucky Guy and Oricon No.1 single " Heat " produced by B'z were sang in Japanese. Kim Hyun Joong talked showed his passion for the albumduring the talk of the event.

1/ Music video of " Your Story " has been released.

HJ: This is the second song I sing with band style following " Heat ". I have been enhansening this song for a long time so that I can sing it in an album someday. I have some more songs which I will sing as a band music. I would like to produce these songs in future.

2/ Where the shooting took place ? ( about "Save Today ")

HJ: It took place in the set in Korea. The idea of the concept is that we go back to the past. So I moved with the double speed of the other people, while they were walking very slowly. I would like to show it if the making video is available now. It was very hard for me to sing a song very rapidly while the music being reproduced fourfold ( He tries to show how rapid he sang )

3/ The concept of the title?

HJ: It means " Unlimited potential in growing " I would like to continue to grow. That is why I choose this title.

4/ How do you review this year ?

HJ : Stretching myself out at home, I asked myself " What did I do this year ? "(the audience burst into laughter ) I would like to spend much busier days the next year.

5/ The concept of the album ?

HJ : I put my feeling " Please do not let me go which means I do not want to lose you ". I do not want to lose this moment when you give a big love to me.

6/ What is your plan the next year?

HJ : I am going to start 2013 with Japan nation-wide tour. I also plan to release a full album in Korea. I will also show you Kim Hyun Joong as actor in the drama. I have another plan to start World tour at the end of the year. I will also release a single album in Japan. So it will be a very busy year for me. I hope that you will

give me your support which will give me power when I feel tired.
