Kristen Stewart turns to Jodie Foster for affair advice

The 22-year-old star – who recently made a public apology to boyfriend Robert Pattinson for cheating on him with her 'Snow White and the Huntsman' director – is being supported by her 'Panic Room' co-star after the 49-year-old actress reached out to her young friend.

A source said: "As soon as she heard the news, Jodie contacted Kristen to offer her support. They have been close friends since they starred opposite each other in the 2002 movie 'Panic Room', and Jodie is a mother-like figure to her.

"Jodie told Kristen to take no notice of the media bashing and said if she wanted to cry her heart out to her she's always available. Jodie loved Rob and is disappointed with Kristen for cheating on him. However, she knows at 22, she's still very young and unfortunately people make mistakes in life. She thinks Kristen will learn from this and will only grow into a more mature person because of it."

However, not all is easy for Kristen, as she is still fighting with British-born Robert about who should look after their dog Bear.

The source added to RadarOnline.com: "After Rob moved his things out of their Los Angeles home, he then told Kristen he wanted Bear. She was heartbroken; they adopted Bear together and she always felt that he was their little baby.

"But Rob was so hurt by Kristen's actions he decided that he wants the dog to help him get over what happened. After all, a dog is a man's best friend and Bear is such a good companion. However, Kristen won't give up Bear in a hurry."

Robert is believed to be hiding out in Reese Witherspoon's holiday home in California while he decides what to do with his future.

Selena Gomez Leans On Taylor Swift for Relationship Advice

Even Selena Gomez needs advice with problems. She turns to BFF Taylor Swift who gives advice on matters of the heart, and yes -- even Justin Bieber. Both friends learned that music helps them heal, especially from breakups.

Believe it or not, entertainers and A-listers in Hollywood run across problems now and then; it's just the nature of the beast. As P-Diddy says, "mo money, mo problems."

But that's when it really pays to have great friends who you can count on when the going gets rough, suggests a Winnipeg Free Press report

And it will get rough, especially if you're a Disney star on Wizards of Waverly Place, who has a hot "Who Says" single out, and is dating a famous boy friend named Justin Bieber.

Selena Gomez says when she is feeling low or needs help with a personal matter, she turns to Taylor Swift -- signaling she can't take on life by her self.

She said her close friend has a "healable" solution for all her romantic problems. How sweet is that? That's what friends are for.

"What I love about Taylor is she believes in the whole love story - Prince Charming, soul mates. Because of her, I haven't lost faith," she says.

But it goes both ways; Selena Gomez offers a lifeline to Swift when she is in need as well. And when the "Speak Now" pop star went through a public breakup in 2008 with Joe Jonas, Sel Go was right there.

Interestingly enough, the girls both use music playlists to bounce off each other as their healing mantras.

"We had Since U Been Gone by Kelly Clarkson and Hot N Cold by Katy Perry." Imagine that; who would have thought music had any effect on Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift?

It's nice to have friends in high places -- or just friends in general.

Justin Timberlake to Justin Bieber: Think About Your Future

Justin Timberlake has issued a stark warning to Justin Bieber to seriously consider his future in the entertainment industry, urging the teenage pop star to come up with a "plan" to keep his career intact.
The former *NSync singer started out as a child performer on a Disney TV show before finding fame with the boyband and later launching himself as a solo artist and actor.
Timberlake knows many youngsters fail in their attempts to make the transition from child star to adult performer, and he hopes Biebers mentor Usher will help him through.
In the same interview that JT confessed to smoking pot, he tells Playboy magazine, "Hes obviously a talented kid. I just hope he has a good support system, because... its awkward growing up in front of the public. (Usher) will teach him that you cant just ride this out. You need to have somewhere to go. You need to have a plan, and somebody like Justin Bieber should be thinking about that right now. Otherwise, before you know it, theres going to be some kid whos younger than you (taking your place).
