With temperatures in Los Angeles steadily rising, most celebrities in the city have been wearing as little as possible to cope in the heat.

And one such star is Emma Roberts, who has been sporting increasingly tiny shorts as the weather heats up.

Emma paired the denim shorts with a red T-shirt and massive black wedges as she headed out to get a pedicure.

The young star, the niece of Julia Roberts, was later seen exiting the beauty salon in a pair of flip flops, ditching the wedges so as to not smudge her nail varnish.

Emma was getting some pampering to cheer herself up after the news broke earlier this week that she had split from her Glee boyfriend Chord Overstreet for the second time in just four months.

Actor Emma Roberts and Chord Overstreet have reportedly broken up again. Roberts, 21, and Overstreet, 23, started dating after meeting at Coachella, California, in 2011. They broke up in January and then reunited in April, reported

Daily Telegraph. "They're done. The last few weeks have been really rough," a source said.The couple were last seen together at the Nylon Young Hollywood party on May 9 but they were already experiencing trouble.

"They posed for pictures. After that, the two were on opposite sides of the VIP section. It's a really immature relationship. All they did was fight. They're just on two different paths in life. They just grew apart and decided to part ways," the source added.

Maybe some couples are just too beautiful to last. According to a friend of Chord Overstreet and Emma Roberts, the couple has decided to officially call it quits — again. “They’re done,” the friend tells Star. “The last few weeks have been really rough.”

Chord, 23, and Emma, 21, were last spotted together May 9 at Nylon‘s Young Hollywood party in LA, but apparently they spent the night on opposite ends of the V.I.P. section after briefly posing for pictures.

The couple was also seen packing on the PDA at Coachella back in April. We never would have predicted they’d split so suddenly!

We're not sure if any random breaking-out-into-song moments happened, but if it did, we're sure Sam Chord made Glee proud!! Ha!

The young couple, who have recently started dating, looked very much in love as they strolled around Hollywood hand in hand.

They were both dressed casually, with 20-year-old Emma opting for jeans, a striped top and shades.

Chord, 22, meanwhile, also wore denims, teamed with a white T-shirt and a cap.

After sharing an affectionate moment, they headed to Joan's on 3rd for a bite to eat.

Despite having only dated for a few weeks, the duo seem to be fairly good at living in each other's pockets.

Since meeting at Coachella music festival in April, they took time before going public and have managed to squeeze in several holidays in a month.

Both actors are rising the ranks of the celebrity world, with Emma landing roles in Scream 4 and What's Wrong With Virginia alongside a star-studded cast including Jennifer Connolly and Ed Harris.

Although it was reported last week that Chord has been axed as a cast regular from hit show Glee.

The actor, who plays Sam Evans in musical show, is expected to return for occasional appearances.

It’s thought Glee star Chord was in town after wrapping up the Glee Live! tour in Dublin on Sunday, but it’s not yet known how the Art Of Getting By Actress came to be in the capital.

The pair were first spotted cosying up in April, while out partying at the Armani Exchange Neon Carnival bash.

‘They were making out in front of everyone,’ a source told E! News. ‘She was hanging out with him non-stop… They even walked off to his hotel room together!’

The Glee hunk has previously been linked to country singer Taylor Swift, while Ms Roberts has been linked to a string of hotties, from Gossip Girl’s Chace Crawford to Dave Franco, younger brother of James Franco.
