Miley Cyrus Breakup Song, 'Drive,' Penned In February Before Liam Hemsworth Split

Miley Cyrus recently opened up about her new breakup song, "Drive," which reportedly alludes to her relationship with her ex-fiance, Liam Hemsworth.

The 20-year-old pop singer appears on the cover of the November issue of FASHION magazine, photographed at a private estate in the Hollywood Hills. In the candid cover interview, she revealed that "Drive," a track off her upcoming album, "BANGERZ," is a song about heartache.

“I wrote it while I was working on Valentine’s Day — emotionally it was such a hard time," Cyrus told the magazine. "It is about needing to leave someone but not really wanting to completely cut yourself off from the relationship. It’s a time when you want to leave but you can’t. It’s also about moving on.”

FASHION notes that the song refers to her split from Hemsworth, whom she met on the set of "The Last Song" back in 2009 and got engaged to last year. The two confirmed they had broken up on Sept. 16.

"Drive" is certainly not the only breakup tune on her new album, due out Oct. 8. In "Wrecking Ball" she croons about "All I wanted was to break your walls / All you ever did was wreck me." Last weekend, she cried when performing the song live at Las Vegas' iHeart Radio Music Festival.

"BANGERZ" is certainly set to be a big one for Cyrus, who has said she gave her all to the album.

"I want my record to be the biggest record in the world, and I've given everything to get here, even down to friends and family and relationships -- I've just put this music first," she told Billboard back in June. "That's been kind of a trip: It's not like I'm losing who I am -- I actually found out more about who I am by making this music... Because I'm not the same person I was six months ago -- I'm not even the same person I was two weeks ago."

She's had a difficult few months following her split from Robert Pattinson.

And it seems Kristen Stewart's traumatic personal life has taken a toll on the 23-year-old actress, who has been seen with what seems to be a large bald patch on her head.

Kristen, who usually conceals her locks beneath hats and caps, was pictured in Berlin, Germany, last month displaying the dramatic hair loss on the right side of her scalp - thought to be down to stress.

In fact, the hair loss is so severe that Kristen's friends are said to be getting increasingly concerned about her fragile state of mind.

A source told Now magazine: 'Kristen's circle are so concerned about her that two of her friends have flown to Germany to see her. 

'They want to take her to a de-stressing yoga retreat on the outskirts of Berlin. 

'They've also begged Rob to visit her on set. They fear the stress is getting worse because she's been trying to make contact with him and he's ignoring all of her calls.'

It was reported recently that Kristen has been trying to arrange a reunion with her Twilight ex Robert, from whom she split earlier this year after their relationship failed to get past her infidelity with married film director Rupert Sanders. 

But Robert is said to be unwilling to give Kristen another chance, having decided once and for all that their romance is over. 

Kristen has been in Berlin shooting her new movie Sils Maria in Germany, alongside co-star Juliette Binoche.

To begin with, it was like Clare didn't want to lay eyes on Kristen again, but of course she and Rob reunited and that was difficult for her."

According to US gossip site Radar Online the 18-year-old heart-throb grew increasingly frustrated with Taylor because of her prudish ways in the days leading up to their split.

A source revealed to Radar that Taylor is nervous about how she is seen by the public so she won't "put out".

They said: “Taylor is so concerned that the public will think she’s a wh*re because she dates around, that she doesn’t put out, what she doesn’t get is that the guys keep dumping her because she’s being a prude.”

Another insider reportedly told Radar that Harry got bored by Taylor, 23, constantly talking about antiques.

And it seems that it was their differing lifestyles that eventually drove the couple apart after just 65 days together.

The source added: “Harry wants to go out to fancy bars and clubs and enjoy being young – but Taylor’s more of a homebody and all she would talk about was antiques!”

“It drove him crazy, so he gave her the elbow!”

Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez Officially Split A Week Ago

Despite the latest breakup, “I wouldn’t be surprised if they got back together,” says the source.

Why is that?

“They still both really care about each other,” says the source.

“Justin has been upset about it. The splitting up and getting back together has been hard on both of them,” explains the insider.

The biggest issue that the young couple is facing now is “timing,” says the source. “He’s got so much touring coming up. I don’t know how they’re going to see each other.”

Starting in February, Justin will be touring Europe, including the UK, Spain and France. In May, he will move to Dubai and South Africa. The Believe tour will run through August 10, 2013.  Selena also has promotional work for her new movie Spring Breakers, which will be released on March 8.

Meanwhile, Justin was photographed holding a cigarette that looked suspiciously like marijuana on Jan. 2. Is he possibly acting out because he’s upset by his breakup from the usually supportive Selena?

In any case, we wish these two both well, whether or not they get back together.

Chord Overstreet & Emma Roberts Split Again — New Report

Maybe some couples are just too beautiful to last. According to a friend of Chord Overstreet and Emma Roberts, the couple has decided to officially call it quits — again. “They’re done,” the friend tells Star. “The last few weeks have been really rough.”

Chord, 23, and Emma, 21, were last spotted together May 9 at Nylon‘s Young Hollywood party in LA, but apparently they spent the night on opposite ends of the V.I.P. section after briefly posing for pictures.

The couple was also seen packing on the PDA at Coachella back in April. We never would have predicted they’d split so suddenly!
