Avril Lavigne, David Guetta and Demi Lovato Rock Y100's Jingle Ball 2011

While New York hosted Z100's Jingle Ball at its famed venue, Madison Square Garden on December 9, Florida was made merry with a similar holiday gig by Y100 on the next day. Avril Lavigne was one of the performers, and David Guetta as well as Demi Lovato, fresh off their headlining bill at the Big Apple concert, flew to the state to help spread the Christmas cheers.

Rocker chick Avril rocked a black cropped top, a pair of skinny leather pants as well as black-and-red heeled boots. Performing songs including the ones from her latest studio installment "Goodbye Lullaby", the girlfriend of Brody Jenner showed off acrobatic stage act at one point during the December 10 concert.

French disc jokey David kept the party going from behind his turntable by spinning a bunch of electro/dance beats. Lovato, meanwhile, alternated her set between pumping up the crowd with uplifting songs and slowed it down with the ballad melody of "Skyscraper". During one of her high-energy sets, she's accompanied by astronaut-helmed dancers.

Off stage, Lovato talked about her duet with Kelly Clarkson at the Z100 concert. To JustJared, she gushed, "She actually was backstage and she was like 'we should sing a duet together' and I was like 'of course, anything you want.' And then we basically came up with the idea to sing a Christmas carol together and it came in place yesterday. It was amazing, I was so excited."

The star-studded annual event took place at the Bank Atlantic Center in Sunrise. The other musical guests at the Saturday night festive event included Flo Rida, Cobra Starship, Gym Class Heroes, Neon Hitch and Karmin.

Demi Levato opens up about Miley Cyrus

Demi Levato is known as one of Selena Gomez‘s good friends, but she has also been a friend of her former competitor Miley Cyrus. She was recently interviewed for a top 30 countdown and she talked about Miley. You can find the interview at the bottom of this post.

Demi has been known to be off and on friend with Miley since last year. But this is the first time she has really spoken on the topic. However, Demi has no harsh words about anyone-including Miley. Some of you will likely remember the brouhaha over Miley’s video mocking Demi and Selena. While all have denied that, it does seem that they are all on good terms now. We still have not heard much about those two spending time together after Demi left the center, but she has previously said that Miley and Selena both reached out to her during her stint.

What do you think about Demi opening up about Miley? I hope that all three of them can become friends, but I am not sure how possible that is. All three likely have much more in common and they could offer each other support. You know that the transition from Disney to the mainstream media must be beyond tough. So maybe they can all now make amends and work on a future friendship of support that you know that most likely need.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez recently went on a double date with friends Demi Lovato and Chris Brown. Wait, so does this mean that Demi and Chris are dating? It’s a possibility.

According to reports, Justin Bieber and girlfriend Selena Gomez hit the town last weekend with Demi Lovato and Chris Brown. The young stars went to the movies to watch ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.’

However, the gang decided to leave the movie before it was over. “They didn’t buy any concessions they just went straight to the movie at midnight. Two hours later they all walked out of the theater before the film even ended,” one source said.

Fans are now eager to see if Lovato and Brown become a couple. Everyone is sure to have an opinion about that pairing, as Brown is remembered for severely beating his former girlfriend, Rihanna, and Demi engaged in a long rehab stay earlier this year.

However, it could have been Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez who set up Demi Lovato and Chris Brown, as the two are good friends with each of the singers.
