Maxim Hot 100 list 2012

The Maxim 100 2012 list was announced on May 21, 2012. The list features the 100 women as decided by a bunch of magazine editors. The hottest of hot Maxim women? Supermodel Bar Refaeli. Others at the top of the list: ... Olivia Wilde, Katy Perry, Mila Kunis, Olivia Munn.
 The biggest surprise: Stephen Colbert came in at 69, which seems to have happened because of a write-in campaign.

Taylor Swift: Floral Mini Dress Darling

Fresh off of being named Woman of the Year at the Billboard Awards, Taylor Swift was looking darling while out in Los Angeles, CA on Thursday (May 24). 

 The "Mean" singer revealed her thin figure in a mini floral dress with a cardigan over it as she popped into Joan's on Third for a midday bite to eat. 

 The outing comes as Miss Swift found herself as the subject of conversation in a new feature from W magazine focusing on fellow country singer Miranda Lambert. Of Taylor, Miranda dished, “Taylor Swift is a pop singer. But she really helped country music. When she hit, I was thinking, Thank God Taylor’s out there to show people we’re not cheesy." "Some people still think that country music is twangy and cheesy, and they pigeonhole us. But I thought if they’re looking for Taylor’s videos or songs, they might see or hear other people they like, Lambert added. "If her fans are watching for her, they might like me too.”

Taylor Swift, Kristen Bell Make Maxim List

It's hard to argue with this list. Taylor Swift is beautiful. Actress Kristen Bell is beautiful. And the other 98 on Maxim magazine's definitive list of the world's most beautiful women aren't bad either. I think this year's compilation from the men's magazine is so thorough because, for the first time, they let readers have a say in who belongs. So the 99 women (and comedian Stephen Colbert, for some reason) represent all ages and places on the celebrity continuum. Swift came in at No. 26, and of her beauty, the magazine says, "Unfortunately, we don't have much room to write about how much we love Taylor, as all the space has been taken up by the extra security we hired to stop Kanye from interrupting." (Those Kanye West jokes never get old, do they?) Then Bell, who is hosting the CMT Music Awards on June 6 with Toby Keith, Maxim said, "In House of Lies, the former Veronica Mars showed us the surprisingly hot, not-so-surprisingly sleazy side of management consulting. Catch her this August in car-chase skid-mark-athon Hit and Run." Even Miley Cyrus made the list this year, for her "adult awesomeness." The magazine explains, "In other words, you no longer have to feel creepy about knowing her songs."
