Emma Watson celebrates her 24th on muddy Canadian set of new movie Regression

She must be truly dedicated to her job.

Emma Watson spent her 24th birthday on Tuesday on the muddy set of her newest movie Regression.

It was the pretty British star's first day filming the new flick - in which she stars alongside Ethan Hawke - and she was sure to tell her fans via Twitter that it was a 'very cool birthday present.'

Canada clearly had a dose of rain the night before, as Emma was spotted dodging puddles around the film set.

There wasn't much time for the birthday girl to slip into party attire either, with her costume consisting of an array of greys and dirty greens.

The actress wore what looked much like a waitress's uniform, with a faded green pinafore over a green shirt, teamed with ripped grey tights and scuffed leather boots.

She kept warm between takes with a black trench coat, but otherwise looked to have had to put up with the elements in order to play her character in the upcoming thriller.

Emma's brunette tresses were pulled into a casual ponytail and held back with a pink pin - a stark contrast to the look she sported on the multitude of red carpets over the last few weeks on her European promotional jaunt.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Reunion: Twilight Star Rushes to LA for K-Stew's Birthday

Looks like Robert Pattinson is adamant about being with Kristen Stewart on her 24th birthday.

The Twilight star is back in Los Angeles after a long stint of filming overseas – and just in time for former girlfriend Kristen Stewart's birthday, which is on April 9.

"He wanted to make sure he was in LA for Kristen's birthday," a source revealed to Hollywood Life. The on-again, off-again couple is planning a special, long-awaited reunion, according to an insider.

Pattinson has been busy with his films, Queen of the Desert and Life, filming back-to-back in different parts of the world.

On March 30, Pattinson was spotted filming scenes for his upcoming film Life at West Hollywood's swanky Chateau Marmont.

"Rob is back in town and he's super psyched to spend some quality time with Kristen," a friend of Pattinson told Hollywood Life. "He just arrived to film some scenes for the movie Life, which he was working on in Toronto."

Wonder if the shooting schedule was simply a coincidence or if the actor really wanted to make sure he was in town for Stewart's special day.

"They haven't actually seen each other yet, but plan on reuniting in the next day or so with all of the dogs in tow. It's been like four months since they've seen each other. He wanted to make sure he was in LA for Kristen's birthday," the friend said.

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have certainly had their fair share of ups and downs throughout their relationship — most notably with K-Stew’s cheating scandal in July 2012 — but after the Twilight actress was spotted looking very glum on Rob’s birthday, May 13, we’re a bit nervous the twosome may be heading for splitsville!

Kristen, 23, was spotted at a friends house on the afternoon of May 13, arguing on the phone. According to a report by X17 Online, it appeared as though K-Stew and Rob, 27, were breaking up.

“Kristen was pacing back-and-forth in her friend’s apartment, smoking. She looked really upset, talking on the phone for almost an hour — I’m guessing she was talking to Rob. She was really animated, like she was trying to explain something. She was getting frustrated and seemed very emotional,” a photographer tells X17 Online.

After ending the heated phone conversation, Kristen and her friend drove to another friend’s house, where they ended up talking in the car for almost 45 minutes.

Selena Gomez birthday plans

It's almost time to send birthday wishes to Selena Gomez. The former Disney star will be celebrating a big birthday on July 22, which is this Sunday. Gomez is leaving her teen years behind, she'll be celebrating her 20th birthday.

It will be a busy weekend and a big birthday for the "Love You Like a Love Song" singer not only because it is her 20th birthday, but also because her birthday is on the same day as the Teen Choice Awards. She'll be spending part of her night at the awards where she is nominated for three awards. Selena's boyfriend, Justin Bieber, is also nominated for multiple awards.

While celebrating at an award show will be fun, the singer and actress also plans to celebrate with her family.

“I’m going to dinner with my family; some of my grandparents are coming in from Texas, so it’ll just be nice family time," she said of her birthday plans.

Before she celebrates her birthday, though, she took time out to put smiles on the faces of other kids.

Happy Birthday, Robert Pattinson! Twilight Star Turns 26

If Robert Pattinson was in the midst of a quarter-life crisis, we sure couldn't tell.

The Twilight thesp, who celebrates his 26th birthday today, kind of ruled when it came to the young Hollywood scene during the last year (he was dubbed our own celeb of the year, after all), scooping up People's Choice Awards and heating up things off-screen with co-star Kristen Stewart to boot.

And let's just say Pattinson didn't kick off the year leading up to his big 2-6 as one of Time Magazine's most influential people for nothing.

Before the handsome star, who turned millions into Twihards, wrapped up his last scene on the Breaking Dawn: Part 2 set, Pattinson was busy wooing Stewart, canoodling with the starlet around the globe, and more local stomping grounds like Indio, Calif. for the Coachella Music Festival. 

But, it wasn't all X's and O's for the ubiquitous actor.

Pattinson geared up for a post-Twilight transformation, moving on from the hypnotizing heartthrob role that made him famous, to darker characters like a billionaire who nearly loses everything (along with his sanity) in one day in Cosmopolis (set to be released this year).

Along with Cosmopolis came Bel Ami, a romance flick in which he had quite the steamy scene with Christina Ricci.  

Pattinson also went on to nab the role of a military interrogator who hunts down Saddam Hussein in a psychological thriller flick called Mission: Blacklist due to hit theaters next year.

And being the do-gooder that he is, Pattinson helped build a school for teen girls in Cambodia. 

Needless to say, we can't wait to see what the next 12 months have in store for R.Pattz.

And we're hoping today's celebration involves Stewart (lest we forget, he helped her ring in her 22nd birthday this year).

Happy Birthday, Selena Gomez!

Last year, she threw a barbecue tocelebrate her big 18th birthday and this year, it seems, that Selena Gomez is kicking it low key for her 19th birthday.

"I think my mom has planned something for me," the actress/singer told E! News earlier this week. "I didn't really ask for anything, so I'm basically just going to be at tour rehearsal during the day. Maybe go to dinner at night with my family. Pretty boring."

So, what does Bieber have in store for her? "I actually think he'll be in Atlanta," Gomez said. "But that's OK. We all gotta work." It's nice to see that's she so understanding of Bieber's absence, but this just means he's got to get her something good to make up for it.

Since we already suggested yesterday that Bieber might want to learn needlepoint on hissummer vacation, a handmade gift might make for the perfect "I'm Sorry I Missed Your Birthday" present, but we've always been under the old-school assumption that diamonds are a girl's best friend. Since she's turning 19, 19 dozen roses would also make for quite a spectacular sight.

Selena Gomez Requests No Birthday Presents--Donate to Charity Instead

Selena Gomez will turn 19 on Friday, and she has made a very special request regarding her birthday. She has asked her friends to forgo buying her any birthday presents, preferring they make a charitable donation instead.

According to a report from OK Magazine, Selena is hoping to simply hang out at the beach on her birthday and enjoy the entire day--which she has taken off from work for that very purpose. Will Justin Bieber still be around to take part in the beach day and to celebrate Selena's birthday? He did show up at her tour rehearsal in L.A. earlier this week, and reportedly has taken a month off from work.

Do you think Justin Bieber will be able to honor Selena Gomez's no birthday presents wish? That doesn't seem likely. Perhaps the Biebs will do double-duty on Selena's birthday--buying her a gift and making a charitable donation as well.

It's really thoughtful of Selena Gomez to suggest that her friends donate to a charity rather than buying her gifts. So many Hollywood celebrities are wrapped up in themselves and can't seem to take possession of enough things. It certainly appears as though Selena Gomez isn't one of those materialistic types, but rather it seems like her heart and head are in the right place.

Of course her heart and a good portion of that head do belong to Justin Bieber, which only makes people envy Selena Gomez even more. Hopefully the two get to enjoy one another's company on Selena's 19th birthday.
