Justin Bieber, Usher Vie To Top Billboard Chart

For the past several years, Usher has been helping his protégé Justin Bieber become an international pop star. The pair have collaborated on songs and onstage, but now they are about to have their first battle — on the charts.

Usher's album, Looking 4 Myself, debuted on top of the Billboard albums chart, becoming his fourth #1 album after selling 128,000 copies in its first week. But now it's Bieber's turn: Just one week later, Bieber will be entering the charts with his third studio album, Believe and early predictions are expecting huge album sales.

Do Usher And Justin Bieber Have a Friendly Competition For Record Sales?
According to Billboard, Believe is on course to sell between 410,000 and 440,000 units, which would make it the year's biggest debut to date.

Even though Bieber is on track to beat his mentor in sales, the R&B superstar isn't concerned.

Regarding whether he and Bieber speak about topping each other on the charts, Usher told MTV News, "Actually, we have not had that conversation. We try to calculate when we release so that we support each other. It's like a seesaw: 'You take it this week; I'll take it this week.' "

Usher also said that even though he and Bieber do not appear on each other's albums, he was still heavily involved in each song that made the cut on Believe.

"We talked about many different things when making his album. The coolest part about it is we support each other regardless if I'm on the album or he's on my album or not," Usher said. "Every album, it is that sit-down that we have to have, to go through this record. We talk about the audiences that are there: This song is for this audience member, this song is for this region. And that's always very helpful."

Bieber shared during "MTV First: Justin Bieber" that he still turns to Usher for sound advice.

"He's just giving me the advice of: Always keep the people that were there at the beginning and keep them with you, because those are the people that really care and they want to see you succeed."

Selena Gomez doesn`t want to talk about Justin Bieber

Los Angeles: Actress-singer Selena Gomez says she would soon head back to the music studio to record an album but won`t be revealing anything about her relationship with Justin Bieber.

"It`s not going to be necessarily, `Here`s my tell-all.` It`s going to be more of something that people could say, `It could be that or it could be this or it could that.`

"At the end of the day I only make my music because I want it to be really fun. If I could have people dance to it, relate to it, have a good time, that`s all I want," she told eonline.com.

The 19-year-old says she wants to release her fourth album followed by some touring.

"I want to be able to write about things I have never talked about before and tell a story with this album because I have never actually had time to go in and do that," she said.

Ed Sheeran Breaks Down One Direction, Taylor Swift Collaborations

If you still don't know who 21-year-old British singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran is, then you might want to bone up. The folkie up-and-comer is already being embraced by some of the biggest pop acts on the planet as he launches a full-on U.S. invasion of his own.

Having already worked with the boys of One Direction on their album Up All Night, he revealed he's going to work with the guys again later this summer as they prep their sophomore release.

What's Up With Harry Styles And Taylor Swift?
"I wrote a couple of songs when I was 17 that One Direction want for their next album," he said, via Perez Hilton. "I'm going into the studio in August to produce the tracks for them."

In addition to working with the British boy banders, he also recently hit the studio with Taylor Swift, as she prepares her follow-up to Speak Now, her smash 2010 release.

"It's such a pleasure to have people like her in the music industry — she has the talent and is so down to earth, head and shoulders," he told Pop Crush, adding that he was surprised by "just how cool she was."

He went on to say that he was taken aback by her maturity when they hit the studio together. "I've never really met acts like [her]. You meet people like Elton [John] who have been in the game for 30-40 years who are wise and old and been at it for a long time — and Taylor's been in it for six years and she's 22," he explained. "And you hear horror stories about younger musicians who kind of go a bit off the rails, but she's so together and so kind of professional and knows what she wants, but ... isn't too harsh — she's just a really sweet gentle person — so yeah, that's what surprised me, is that she was sound."

Sheeran recently dropped his own debut album, +, Stateside, where he landed at #5 on the Billboard Hot 200 chart.

Emma Roberts: I'm Unsure About My New Bangs

Emma Roberts is no stranger to major hair makeovers, but she's not quite sure about her latest 'do.
For her role in Empire State, costarring Liam Hemsworth, 22, and Nikki Reed, 24, Roberts was asked to get bangs. "I don't know what to do with them. I'm still like, 'Ugh, they're in my eyes!' I don't know what to do!" the actress told Us Weekly at the 2nd Annual Seventeen magazine "Pretty Amazing" finalists luncheon in NYC June 18.

Though she's still on the fence about her bangs, she doesn't totally hate them. "I kind of like them -- they're a fun change for summer," the 21-year-old admitted. "I think I'm going to cut them shorter and dye my hair after the movie's over."

Emma Watson walked pink dog for charity

Emma Watson walked a pink dog to raise awareness for a breast cancer charity.

The 'Harry Potter' franchise actress was blasted by critics and fans recently when she was spotted taking a puppy out that sported fur dyed in a bright colour.

But the star has hit back at claims of cruelty towards the one-year-old bichon fries, claiming the dog isn't even hers.

She wrote on her twitter page: 'Ayeye. Just to clarify one more time that I don't have a dog. @PinkDarcyDog is pink because her owner is raising money for breast cancer.'

Groom Dog City owner Stuart Simons assured concerned fans that the treatment he did on the pet was not harmful.

He told website MailOnline: 'Pink is our biggest colour, but I do look after another bichon called Casper who comes in for a blue mohican.'

He said the beetroot-based semi-permanent dye is harmless and that all the dyes he uses are completely animal-friendly.

He added: 'I wet the dog, rub it on like a shampoo, leave it for five minutes and then wash it off. Because Darcy is white, it takes really well. She is a very calm dog, absolutely lovely, and she enjoys her groom.'
