Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are, after Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, and Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, the third hottest and most famous couple on the planet. However, now that their Twilight Saga days are over, they're often separated for long periods of time working on other projects. How have they weathered the long separations from each other after being practically joined at the hip for years?
How Robert Pattinson is handling flying solo remains a matter of speculation. However, his better half, Kristen Stewart is doing very well by herself. In fact, reportedly, Kristen "has become more confident in her own talents" now that she and R-Pattz are no longer living in each others' pockets. Publicly and professionally, she doesn't need him.
"You know how she's always kind of dug her shoulders in," muses an inside source. "...Well, she is now so different. Those shoulders are back, sister, and she is proud! It's a nice change."
It's good that Kristen Stewart is becoming more confident in herself as an actress and as a woman. Whether she felt unconsciously intimidated by Rob or she simply loves him so much she automatically took a back seat in his presence, it's good that she seems to be coming into her own. Perhaps, being on her own, working on her own film projects, has helped her realize that her famous boyfriend was "never the reason for her success." In the end, K-Stew's professional growth and independence can only enrich their lives as a couple. Even if they sometimes find themselves on opposite sides of the globe.
Here's hoping Robert Pattinson is adapting equally well.
