Hollywood Life has uncovered a surprising obsession of Pattinson's and it happens to be of the wardrobe variety. He's mad for plaid! When the Cosmopolis actor is not posing for cameras on the red carpet, he can typically be found wearing myriad versions of the checked pattern. He even appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show donning a short sleeve plaid shirt!
Plaid may seem like a strange, low-brow style choice for such a hot young star, but this Brit likes his tartan just fine. And, while some guys would come across as unkempt wearing untucked versions of the checkered stuff, Robert Pattinson always seems to pull it off in a cool, effortless way.
And it seems like Robert Pattinson's girlfriend Kristen Stewart approves of his magnificent plaid obsession. After all, she's been caught wearing the pattern, too, (maybe even some of R-Patz's shirts!). Most recently, though, Kristen Stewart has turned up her own style meter and kicked plaid to the curb, with glam-edgy exits at the MTV Movie Awards (Balmain safety pin dress) and another strapless Balmain at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards. Checkmark for her!
