2012 Bentley Continental GTC Speed facelift spied for first time

Absolute power

One of the spy photographers have managed to catch the first pictures of the 2012 Bentley Continental GTC Speed facelift.

Snapped near the company's testing facility, the prototype enjoyed a few minutes of sunshine before the test crew got camera shy and covered the car. Regardless, we can see the updated model will feature an aggressive front fascia, a vented hood and new headlights. Out back, there's a trunk-mounted spoiler, slimmer taillights and a revised exhaust system.

Power will likely be provided by a twin-turbo 6.0-liter W12 engine with upwards of 600 hp (447 kW / 608 PS) and 553 lb-ft (749 Nm) of torque. It will be connected to a 'Quickshift' transmission and an all-wheel drive system, which should enable the car to accelerate from 0-60 mph in less than 4.5 seconds.

The convertible should be unveiled sometime next year, so stay tuned for full details.
