DANIEL Radcliffe huddles up against the cold on the set of his new film Kill Your Darlings.
Wrapped up in a cream woollen jumper, the 22-year-old appeared to be freezing while shooting scenes on the Hudson River in New York.
The Harry Potter star has grown his curly hair to star as Beat poet Allen Ginsberg in the new thriller.
Even with the black-rimmed glasses, it is a very different look from the boy wizard character which gave him international fame.
Co-star Ben Foster, who plays fellow writer William S Burroughs, reckons audiences are in for a shock – and not just because of the dodgy barnet.
He said: “In terms of Daniel Radcliffe, I admire him so much. He is a tremendously courageous human, great mind.
“He's done some work in this film which I think is going to shock and impress and put to bed so many doubting minds.
“Everyone seems to be ready to cut the man down, and he's going to prove them wrong. He's a hell of a talent.”
